If I was hired by Baruch College to use new media to improve the College, the first thing I would say it is a great way to adapt to new generations of being so involved with new media and technology. My first suggestion would be to incorporate new media in a way students can get more virtual interactions for classes. It's a great way for students to broaden their knowledge or resources that possible Baruch may not have or have a limited of. We can incorporate more E-books for students and professors. This will access many more students to borrow a book from the library. Another suggestion is possible incorporating a smoother communication platform between professors and students, plus between classmates. I think this can help with students getting to know each other, since many already are buried in their phone. Bringing new media can help in many ways.
I think this is a good idea since E-books are definitely more convenient than carrying actual books. I also like the idea of a smoother communication platform between classmates because sometimes it can be difficult to talk to people in class. Getting to know classmates better can help students enjoy their classes more.
